How much does therapy cost?
At Louisville Mindfulness Center we have many options to fit everyone’s budget and schedule. We all work from a mindfulness-based perspective and have similar training so you are in excellent hands with any provider you choose.
Rob’s initial sessions are $180 for 75-minutes. His follow-up sessions are $120 for 50-minute sessions. Rob is available for daytime, early evening, and Saturday appointments.

Keith’s initial sessions are $225 for 75-minutes. His follow-up sessions are $150 for 50-minute sessions. Keith is available for daytime appointments during the week.
Keith accepts private pay clients and commercial Humana insurance only. He does not accept Medicare or Medicaid. If you would like to use your insurance, please contact your insurance company and complete this form to verify your benefits, deductible, and co-pay before booking your appointment online with Keith.

Kathryn’s initial sessions are $180 for 75-minutes. Her follow-up sessions are $120 for 50-minute sessions. Kathryn is available for daytime appointments during the week and on weekends.

Jennifer’s initial sessions are $100 for 50-minutes. Her follow-up sessions are $100 for 50-minute sessions and she has availability on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and evenings as well as Saturdays.

Bridgette’s initial sessions are $120 for 75-minutes. Her follow-up sessions are $80 for 50-minute sessions and she has availability on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Ashley’s sessions are $120 for 50-minutes. She mainly works with children, adolescents, and parents. Her follow-up sessions are $120 for 50-minute sessions. Ashley is available during the week and has some afternoon and evening availability.

Megan’s initial sessions are $350 for 50-minutes. Her follow-up sessions are $250. Currently, all her couples spots and sliding-scale spots are full. She confidently recommends any of the therapists with LMC for you to work with couples (remember she has hand-picked these therapists!). Megan sees clients Tuesday – Friday during the day: 10:30 am – 3:30 pm.

Acceptable forms of payment are cash, credit card, Health Savings Accounts, and Flexible Spending Accounts.
Frequency of therapy depends on the intensity level of your current situation. Research shows that 8 -12 sessions seem to be a magic number for long-term overall improvement for people.
Many of our clients at Louisville Mindfulness Center are feeling a sustainable change take place after 6-10 sessions. Some clients need less and some need more, so it’s hard to determine what you will need. If possible, we encourage people to come for weekly sessions for the first few weeks to gain some momentum on the issues at hand. This works particularly well for clients who feel in crisis or are presenting more intense issues.
All of our therapists maintain some sliding-scale spots. Do you take insurance?
Currently, Keith Williams is accepting HUMANA commercial insurance only. To use your insurance, we require you to schedule a free 10-minute consult with Keith. Humana-based appointments must be scheduled by the therapist and can’t be directly scheduled online by the potential client.
If you have another insurance carrier (Aetna, Cigna, United, etc.), we encourage you to check with them about your out-of-network benefits. We have several clients who successfully use their out-of-network benefits. Please contact your insurance carrier for more information. Oftentimes, it involves you paying your provider first and then seeking reimbursement from the insurance company. When using insurance, the insurance company does require a diagnosis from the therapist for the client.
UPDATE: It has come to our attention that the app, Better Claims, makes filing out-of-network claims easy and quick. Essentially you upload the app, take a picture of your insurance card, take a picture of the superbill we provide for you, and Better Claims files the out-of-network claim for you. We invite you to check this option out!
Do you offer a sliding scale fee?
All of our providers at Louisville Mindfulness Center maintain a few sliding-scale spots lower than their full-fee rates. For Megan, all those spots are full. If you find that the provider you are wanting to schedule with does not offer a free 10-minute phone consultation, then all of their sliding-scale spots are full. The therapists who currently offer a free 10-minute consultation may still have some sliding-scale spots open.

Do you offer a free consultation?
YES! We offer a free 10-minute phone consultation to see if working together will be optimal for both parties.
While this is not a therapy session, it is a chance for you to tell your provider briefly about your current situation and ask any questions you have about your provider to feel more comfortable with beginning therapy.
